Synopsis of SNAKEWEED by BOBBY GOODWIN.

SNAKEWEED is a comedy spoof on incest in Arkansas. The main character is David Shafer, a senior reporter for a legenday tabloid newspaper. For the last seventeen years he has been keeping tabs on a hillbilly named Willie Hatfield, his nitwit sister, Charlene, and their incestual son. The hillbilly family is from SnakeWeed, Arkansas - population 9. When the siblings had sex together, Willie was eighteen, and Charlene was only thirteen, and they were both too drunk on moonshine to consider the pitfalls of incest. Nine months later, Charlene gave birth to a "freak of nature." The baby was born with three legs! The extra leg funtioned normally, so the siblings decided to keep the three-legged baby and raise it like a normal child. They named their tripod son, Tommy.
